Chelsea fans hailed debutant Jadon Sancho after Manchester United loanee came off the bench to setup for Christopher Nkunku's late winner.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Sancho appeared in a Premier League game for the first time in over a year as he finally made his debut for Chelsea on Saturday at Vitality Stadium. The English winger, who joined the Blues on loan from United this summer, came off the bench to provide the assist for Nkunku's 86th-minute winner against Bournemouth. As Sancho starred in his very first appearance for the Blues, fans took to social media to hail the player's contribution to the club's narrow win.

The 24-year-old last appeared in a Premier League game on August 26, 2023, for the Red Devils against Nottingham Forest. After that game, the player had a public fallout with manager Erik ten Hag which led to him being frozen out of their first-team squad. Sancho moved to Borussia Dortmund on a short-term loan in January and went on to reach the Champions League final.
