As the new Fenerbahce manager, Jose Mourinho has turned to the Premier League for reinforcements.
The former Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United boss joined the Turkish outfit earlier this summer after being linked to the Newcastle United job.
He has already welcomed eight new signings to the club, including former Newcastle winger Allan Saint-Maximin.
But Jose Mourinho has also shown interest in current Premier League stars with Fenerbahce enquiring about Scott McTominay this summer.
The Red Devils are open to selling McTominay with a price tag around £30million. Fulham have already tabled a bid and are favourites, but Fenerbahce and Turkish rivals Galatasaray remain interested.
Fenerbahce were also in the market for a midfielder this summer, but their move for Guido Rodriguez was hijacked by West Ham.
The 30-year-old Argentine is in advanced talks to join the Hammers after a proposed move to Barcelona fell through.
West Ham were not initially in the market for a central midfielder but were willing to dip into the market if a good opportunity presented itself.
MORE WEST HAM UNITED STORIES
Guido Rodriguez is now set to join Crysencio Summerville as a new arrival at the London Stadium.
After seeing a deal for Rodriguez hijacked, Turkish outlet Takvim report that Fenerbahce now have West Ham midfielder Tomas Soucek on their radar.
With Rodriguez heading to London, Soucek is set to be pushed down the pecking order under Julen Lopetegui and they could choose to offload the Czech Republic international.
The report adds that Soucek, who joined West Ham in a £19million deal in 2020, is exactly the kind of player Mourinho is after at Fenerbahce.
After a relatively quiet start to the window for West Ham, it is now beginning to burst into life.
After adding Max Kilman and Luis Guilherme to their squad early in the summer, they have now sealed the signing of Summerville and more are on their way.
The Hammers continue to be linked with a move for Aaron Wan-Bissaka while Niclas Fullkrug is also close to completing a move alongside Rodriguez.
