Everton legend Duncan Ferguson says Tyler Dibling will be feeling 'disappointed' with life under David Moyes at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, as he dropped his honest verdict on how the Scotsman is doing in his second spell in charge.
Like Moyes, Ferguson had two separate spells at Everton, as a player, before also managing them on an interim basis on two occasions, and he is loved by the Toffees faithful.
The 54-year-old has just been confirmed as the new Glentoran manager after deciding on a move to Northern Irish football for his next challenge.
Meanwhile, the Merseyside outfit sit eighth in the Premier League table, losing just one of their opening seven matches this term, although four of those have been draws.
Everton have been affected in recent weeks by their failure to sign a new striker on deadline day after green-lighting Beto's move to Fiorentina, while the club was put up for sale by the Friedkin Group earlier this month.
With so little depth in attack, Moyes will surely be delighted that they lie ahead of the likes of Aston Villa, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United in the table.
There are still some frustrations from fans who would love to see the club kick on in their new stadium, but Ferguson believes his former boss is doing a good job, speaking exclusively to GIVEMESPORT.
He said: "He steadied the ship. He's been solid enough, hasn't he? Moysey's done a great, a good job there.
He's short on numbers and I know it's early in the league, but if you lose a game, it's the end of the world, isn't it?
"He's doing a good job, and Everton fans have been great. They're loyal to the club as most fans are, and they just want the best for the club, don't they? So they probably want a wee bit investment as well to give David some support."
There will be many Everton fans who would like to see more from Tyler Dibling following some impressive displays in the EFL Cup against Preston North End and Wolverhampton Wanderers, but they haven't translated into Premier League appearances.
It seemed like there could be more opportunities for the 20-year-old following Iliman Ndiaye's summer move to Manchester City, but he has been an unused substitute in five of their seven top flight fixtures this term.

Speaking exclusively to GMS about the former Southampton man, Ferguson said:
Tyler Dibling's not playing, and he'd be disappointed in that because David brought him in.
"Obviously at the moment he doesn't fancy putting him in [the XI], does he? Or he'd put him in."
Having cost the club a potential £40m fee, it's no surprise that Everton fans want to see more of the 20-year-old on the pitch.
There is clearly something Moyes is seeing behind the scenes that means he can't give Dibling regularly Premier League minutes, while he also has senior competition for the wide positions from Jack Grealish, Tyrique George and Brennan Johnson.
Did it happen before or after?

Dibling needs to keep showing up when he is on the pitch, to prove to Moyes that he can make an impact both offensively and defensively to help the team.
The England Under-21 international clearly has a lot of ability and a big future ahead of him, and everyone involved with Everton will be hoping he can show why the club paid so much for him.
