WWE president Nick Khan has revealed the identities of the four Superstars he expects to lead the company 'into the future'.
The 52-year-old executive spoke openly about his confidence in each of the young talents during a company-wide 'town hall' meeting earlier this week.
While WWE currently has a stacked roster of main event Superstars, there's no escaping the fact that the majority of these names are now entering the back-end of their careers.
Reigning WWE Champion Sami Zayn is now 42, with World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns just one year younger at 41. The likes of Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, CM Punk and LA Knight are also all north of their 40th birthday.
However, Khan insists that WWE is in a strong position moving forward, name checking four stars who he believes will break through to become headline attractions in the near future.
Nobody will be surprised that Khan has strong belief that Oba Femi will carry the company for years to come. 'The Ruler' has already won the King of the Ring tournament in his short main roster career and headlined SummerSlam against Brock Lesnar in a Hell in a Cell match.
Per multiple reports, the promotion has even bigger plans for Oba ahead of WrestleMania 43 next year, where he is widely expected to win his first WWE world championship.
Another Superstar who Khan tipped for big things is Bron Breakker. At one point earlier this year, discussions were held over him potentially winning both the Royal Rumble and a world title.
Injuries meant that didn't happen, but 'The Unpredictable Badass' still surely has multiple world championship reigns in his future as soon as his current run with 'The Vision' comes to an end.
At just 22 years old, the high-flying Evans is already firmly established on the Raw brand. Je'Von has mixed it with the best the red brand has to offer, even competing in this year's men's Elimination Chamber match.
The North Carolina native has the opportunity to be a major player in the company for the next two decades.
With WWE now featuring women's Superstars more frequently than at any time in its history, it stands to reason that a female talent would be highlighted by Khan as one of the pillars of the company's future.
An outstanding collegiate athlete, Ruca was recruited by WWE in 2022. After four years in NXT, she made her Raw debut earlier this year and has since got on to compete in the women's Money in the Bank ladder match and enjoy a reign as the Women's Intercontinental Champion.
Naturally, in the cut-throat world of professional wrestling, there are no such things as guarantees, as past prospects tipped to be world champion have shown. However, a seasoned executive such as Khan would never have mentioned any of the four had they all not been discussed as future headliners internally.
As its current crop of main event stars moves towards retirement, WWE clearly has major confidence in some of those rising through the ranks.
