Texas A&M baseball earned the No. 13 spot in D1Baseball's 2026 Top 100 College Baseball Programs rankings.

The rankings evaluate the overall strength and direction of college baseball programs rather than predicting which teams will be the best next season. D1Baseball emphasizes success over the last decade, particularly the previous five years, while considering each program's future outlook.

Texas A&M landed just outside the top 10, joining 14 other SEC programs in the rankings. The conference dominated the upper portion of the list, placing 12 teams in the top 25, including 11 of the top 14. LSU claimed the No. 1 ranking, followed by Texas at No. 2 and North Carolina at No. 3. Tennessee and Florida rounded out the top five, while Arkansas and Oklahoma finished sixth and seventh.

The Aggies ranked behind Mississippi State (No. 10), Ole Miss (No. 11) and Auburn (No. 12), while finishing ahead of Georgia (No. 14) and Vanderbilt (No. 17). Alabama (No. 27), Kentucky (No. 26) and South Carolina (No. 44) also represented the SEC.

The recognition reflects Texas A&M's national standing while competing in one of college baseball's toughest conferences.

A&M reached the College World Series championship series in 2024, falling one win short of their first national title. That postseason run remains one of the program's biggest accomplishments. Texas A&M finished the 2026 regular season 41-16, including an 18-11 mark in SEC play, showing its ability to compete with nationally recognized programs.

Although the No. 13 ranking doesn't guarantee success in 2027, it further indicates where Texas A&M stands among the country's established baseball programs.

The challenge now is turning that national recognition into consistent postseason results.
