So far, so good.
The Jacksonville Jaguars jumped out to a 4-2 start this season, taking care of business and racing out to the lead in the AFC South. While the job isn't finished, the team is prepared to take a mini-break before returning to action in Week 8 as more key contests await.
Jacksonville still has to worry about the lurking Houston Texans, especially after dropping a game to them in London.
Trevor Lawrence and the Jags wrapped up their annual London trip with a 1-1 record while across the pond. A bye week awaits and then it's back to work. Vacation time is almost over and then the push to the playoffs kicks into high gear.
Here's a look at their record, AFC South standings and remaining schedule as the season continues.
The Jaguars are not playing in Week 7. They join the Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Chargers and Washington Commanders as the four NFL teams getting the week off before returning to action in Week 8.
Jacksonville has a cushion atop the AFC South, but it might not last forever. With two of the next three games being divisional matchups, the Jags can really strengthen their position in first place.
