WATCH: Tank Dell gets first reception in nearly two seasons

The pass may not have been intended for him, but Tank Dell caught it anyway to get the Houston Texans in field goal range with under two minute left in the first half against the New York Giants.

Houston’s offense has not been able to get a lot going. After a holding penalty, it was first and 20 when Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud threw the ball over the middle, intended for Jaylin Noel. It went off Noel’s hands and Dell came down with the ball for a 43-yard reception.

Here is a look at Tank Dell’s first reception in nearly two seasons, courtesy of the Texans’ official social media:

This is Dell’s first game of the season after missing the end of the 2024 season and all of the 2025 season due to his horrific knee injury nearly two years ago. He started this season on the physically unable to perform list before being activated for this game. Dell is still looking for his first touchdown since the game against the Kansas City Chiefs he suffered his knee injury in.

The Texans will start on defense for the second half.
