Sierra Leone’s U-20 national team, the Shooting Stars, 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 in the ongoing 𝐖𝐀𝐅𝐔-𝐀 𝐔-𝟐𝟎 𝐀𝐅𝐂𝐎𝐍 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐢 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, following the withdrawal of Guinea-Bissau from the competition.

The withdrawal has resulted in a revision of Sierra Leone’s fixtures, with the Shooting Stars set to face Mauritania on 19 October 2026 before taking on Senegal on 22 October 2026.

The revised schedule means the young Sierra Leone side will focus on these two crucial encounters as they continue their campaign in the regional competition.

With the top two teams in the group qualifying for the semi-finals, the Shooting Stars will be aiming to secure positive results in their remaining fixtures to keep their hopes of reaching the knockout stage alive.
