"What an atmosphere! The tifos from our fans were – once again – unbelievable. I think we witnessed two teams playing incredible football, such attacking football. We showed our level. It was a very competitive match; I think our first half was exceptional before we struggled in the first 15 minutes of the second half. It was hard to keep control of the game, but then we were able to create more scoring chances and win the match. It’s only three more points, but it’s always positive to defeat such a quality side.

"You always have to overcome difficult periods in games, especially against opponents of this calibre. That’s what happened last year against opposition like Arsenal and Bayern: there are times when the opposition has the answers and you have to defend deep. That’s not our objective, but we overcame it tonight. The players that came off the bench were excellent and gave us a real boost. We are very happy. Now we have to keep going.”
