Kun Khalifat striker Ameh Joseph has called on the club’s supporters to create a hostile atmosphere when Inter Lagos visit the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri on Sunday.
The fixture is an important NPFL Matchday 10 meeting for Obinna Uzoho’s side, with Joseph believing the home crowd could have a significant influence on the result.
Kun Khalifat regard their supporters as an extra player because of the impact they can have from the stands.
“We call our supporters the 12th man on the pitch because they have a huge impact,” Joseph told the club media.
“When they sing, they make it very uncomfortable for the opposition to play against us, and we appreciate and love them.”
The striker said the squad were determined to reward that backing by producing a performance capable of earning three points.
He also stressed that the players were fully motivated to meet the expectations of those attending the match.
“So it’s very important for us to give them a good game,” Joseph said.
