EPL: Arsenal starlet Max Dowman to serve three-match ban

Arsenal youngster, Max Dowman, is set to serve a three-match ban for his red card against Fleetwood Town in the Carabao Cup.

This follows the FA's decision to throw out the Gunners' appeal on Thursday.

The 16-year-old was sent off for kicking out at Harrison Neal in the 85th minute of the tie.

Dowman will now miss Arsenal’s Premier League matches against Liverpool, Hull City and Newcastle.

His suspension comes as a blow to Mikel Arteta, following injuries to Bukayo Saka and Noni Madueke.

It was Dowman's second red card this month, having also been sent off while representing England's Under 19s.
