Kaizer Chiefs supporters will be unable to watch Amakhosi’s CAF Confederation Cup clash against Red Arrows live after the club confirmed to IOL Sport that Saturday’s match will not be broadcast anywhere.
Chiefs face the Zambian side at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola at 3pm in the first leg of their second preliminary-round tie.
The confirmation means supporters will have to follow updates on the match rather than watch the action live, as Amakhosi begin their push to reach the Confederation Cup group stages.
The absence of a broadcast will be disappointing for Chiefs fans hoping to follow the team’s continental campaign, particularly those unable to travel to Zambia for the encounter.

Chiefs will be looking to secure a positive result away from home before the return leg, which is scheduled to take place at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Friday, 23 October.
While Amakhosi fans will miss out on live coverage on Saturday, South African football supporters will have an opportunity to watch another local club in action on free-to-air television the following day.
Durban City, who are also in the Confederation Cup, are scheduled to feature on SABC 1 tomorrow, giving viewers an alternative fixture to follow over the weekend.
The difference in broadcast availability highlights the varying access supporters have to South African clubs competing in domestic and continental competitions.
For Chiefs, the immediate priority will be delivering a strong performance in Ndola and taking an advantage into the second leg, despite supporters being unable to watch the match live.
