Haaland linked with La Liga move as Real Madrid and Barcelona emerge as suitors

An insider has claimed Erling Haaland will eventually play in Spain, despite the Manchester City striker remaining under contract with the club until 2034.

The Norway international continues to be linked with a move away from the Premier League champions. Although his current agreement runs for another eight years, various reports suggest the 26-year-old is unlikely to see out the deal in full.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are considered the only serious contenders for Haaland’s signature. Transfermarkt currently values the forward at 220m euros.
