Dez Bryant slaps phone out of teen’s hand in video of parking lot altercation: ‘I’m not playing with you’

Former NFL superstar Dez Bryant smacked a teenager’s phone out of his hand and then chucked it to the ground during a heated altercation in a parking lot on Sunday, new video obtained by the California Post shows.

The dispute occurred just before 1 p.m. outside of a restaurant in Southlake, Texas, after Bryant accused 19-year-old Noah Reyes and his friend, 19-year-old Terrance Avery, of “street racing” next to his vehicle on a nearby roadway.

Bryant, who also alleged Reyes threatened to shoot him after he confronted the duo about their driving behavior, can be seen in the new footage yelling at Avery “to get your partner before I break him down.”

He also can be seen slapping Reyes’ phone away after the teen pulled it out in an apparent attempt to film the ex-Dallas Cowboys receiver.

“I’m not playing with you,” Bryant says in the clip.

Bryant then picks up Reyes’ phone and despite Avery’s pleas for the 37-year-old to not “break it,” the three-time Pro Bowler hurls it to the pavement with force.

Seconds later, after Reyes got his phone back, Bryant took another swing at the phone, according to the video.

Dez Bryant screamed at a pair of 19-year-olds after they allegedly cut him off on a roadway.

“I’m fitting to f—k these little motherf—kers up,” Bryant can be heard yelling in the video. “Like, real talk.”

The video shows Bryant got in Reyes’ face multiple other times, repeatedly calling him a “bitch” while threatening him.

“I’ll break you down, n—a,” Bryant said at one point. “Don’t give a f—k about none of that.”

The men argued for several minutes before cops arrived.

Bryant also stated over and over again he didn’t “give a f—k about no law.”

“You think I give a f—k about that law?” Bryant said, according to the video, before gesturing at supposed security cameras around the lot. “No I don’t. Not at all. Because we’re going to get them cameras and see who looks like an idiot.”

Cops eventually arrived on scene and one officer seemed to draw a gun on Bryant right away, appearing to order him to “get on the f—king ground.”

Dez Bryant was upset with Noah Reyes for filming him during the dispute.

“Several callers reported that multiple individuals were involved in the altercation as well as a possible weapon,” a Southlake Police Department spokesperson said of the incident in a statement to The Post on Monday. “Based on that information, officers drew their firearms upon arrival as a precaution to address any potential threats and ensure the safety of everyone at the scene. Several individuals were temporarily detained as part of the investigation. No firearms were recovered at the scene.

“The altercation reportedly began as a traffic incident near Kimball Avenue, where one of the involved individuals, identified as 37-year-old Desmond Bryant, reported he was cut off by another motorist. Both parties subsequently entered the parking lot, where an argument ensued and the alleged assault occurred.

“Following the investigation, Bryant, was issued a citation for Assault by Contact, a Class
C misdemeanor, and was released at the scene.”

Reyes told The Post that he sustained a hand injury during the ordeal and will be suing Bryant.

Bryant, meanwhile, told Outkick he was merely acting in self defense.

Bryant is slated to appear in court on Nov. 20 to address the assault citation.
