Arnold Schwarzenegger's son Christopher looks fitter than ever.

The 29-year-old son of the champion bodybuilder was seen on an outing in Los Angeles with his mother Maria Shriver and his girlfriend on Sunday.

Christopher showcased his ripped physique in a blue T-shirt with white gym shorts and brown sneakers while on the walk with the two important women in his life. 

The resemblance to his famous father, who won the Mr Olympia title seven times during his bodybuilding heyday, was uncanny. He's also been said to look strikingly similar to his bodybuilding half-brother Joseph Baena.

Christopher's incredible weight loss journey began in 2019 while he was living in Australia. It became the big turning point in his life when he realized his excess body weight was limiting his ability to enjoy the life that he wanted for himself.

He lost 250 pounds over the course of five years by changing his diet and focusing on a consistent exercise regime including weight lifting, boxing and hiking.

'It was a big process,' Christopher said at the Beacher Vitality’s Happy & Healthy Summit in Los Angeles last year, per Page Six.

'I just saw how much my weight was prohibiting me from doing the everyday activities,' he told host Jeff Beacher alongside featured guest speakers Dr Robert Huizenga and Kelly Osbourne, whose own dramatic weight loss has captured attention.

'I was like, "I want to go skydiving." And my friends were like, "Yeah, no shot." I was like, "Yeah, I can’t skydive."'

Christopher, who graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in psychology, recalled his body image issues dated as far back as high school.

'I tried everything. I was doing meal delivery things in high school, and I remember feeling like a weirdo when I was bringing weird lunches to school,' he shared.

But his weight loss was 'not an overnight thing' and 'took a lot of trial and error' by fine-tuning his workouts and diet.

Last year, Christopher, who described himself as a 'good Catholic boy,' said he 'gave up bread for Lent' and ‘lost 30 pounds just through that.'

At the time of the summit, he felt he hadn't yet reached his final 'after' weight loss goal, seeing it as an ongoing process.

'Even still to this day… when you're saying, oh, before-and-after photos… I don't feel like I'm an "after" yet. I don't feel like I'm at the point,' he admitted.

His family is clearly proud of what he's been able to accomplish through discipline, hard work and sweat.

Over the Thanksgiving holiday in 2025, his sister Katherine Schwarzenegger shared a series of snaps in which Christopher displayed his brawny frame, looking remarkably similar to his bodybuilding half-brother Joseph Baena, 29.

'So much to be thankful for,' the wife of actor Chris Pratt wrote in her caption alongside a red heart emoji.
