Paris Saint-Germain is sending a strong message on the European stage, having dominated Manchester City (4-2) and FC Barcelona (4-2) to continue its impressive run in the UEFA Champions League.
Achraf Hakimi believes these results reinforce PSG’s ambitions, to the point of placing the club among the best teams in the world.
“When you play against teams like that, you want to show them that we’re the champions and that we want to keep winning,” the Moroccan defender explained in the mixed zone.
He then touched on the possibility of PSG claiming the top spot in the world: “Maybe even the best right now.”
For Hakimi, however, the stakes aren’t limited to the successes already achieved. The 27-year-old right back points out that the goal is to extend this streak and win another title.
“We have something big to accomplish this year: winning again,” he said.
