Tom Brady and Candice Swanepoel are in a relationship.

PEOPLE can confirm that the retired football player, 49, and the model, 38, are dating. Us Weekly was first to report the news.

“They’ve been dating for a while now,” a source tells PEOPLE, indicating that Brady and Swanepoel have been seeing each other for at least a few months. “They both live in Miami, so it’s very convenient,” adds the insider. “They’re spending a lot of time together.”

Neither Brady nor Swanepoel have publicly addressed their romance. Representatives for both did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Brady was previously married to Gisele Bündchen from 2009 to 2022. The pair share two children together: son Benjamin, 16, and daughter Vivian, 13.

The NFL alum is also a dad to son John, 19, with his ex-girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan, and Bündchen, 46, is also a mom to a son she welcomed with her husband, Joaquim Valente, in February 2025.

Following Brady’s split from Bündchen, he was linked romantically to other celebrities including Irina Shayk, Kim Kardashian and Alix Earle.

Swanepoel, meanwhile, dated ex Hermann Nicoli for 14 years. They got engaged in 2015, but they later split in 2018.

The former pair share two children together: sons Anacan, 10, and Ariel, 7.

Brady played coy about his dating life earlier this year, telling PEOPLE, “You know what? I don’t have much time for a personal life or much time for myself, but I love working, and I love my kids.”

“I like to be busy and try to really stay fulfilled in the things I’m doing, so I’m working on some really cool projects, and I’m involved with some great teams of people that are doing some really positive things,” he added at the time.
