The shooting incident involving actor Tiger Shroff outside a football ground in Mumbai's Juhu area has prompted All Stars Football Club to suspend its Sunday football sessions over security concerns. The club, which counts several Bollywood actors among its members, has put its matches on hold following the October 18 incident. Club owner Bunty Walia cancelled the practice session scheduled for October 25 and said activities would remain suspended until adequate security arrangements are made. The club is expected to consult the police before deciding when the sessions can resume.
Actors Ranbir Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan and Kartik Aaryan are among the members of All Stars Football Club. The shooting incident has raised concerns about the safety of celebrities who regularly gather for the football sessions. The club has not announced a date for the resumption of its Sunday matches.
The shooting took place at around 7 pm on Sunday, October 18, when three men on a motorcycle allegedly opened fire at Tiger Shroff's car as he was leaving a football ground near Pushpa Narsee Park in Juhu. The actor escaped serious injury, but his driver, Firdous Ibrahim Baloch, and another man, Umesh Chavan, sustained bullet injuries.
The attackers fled on a motorcycle after the shooting. Mumbai Police launched an investigation into the incident and arrested the accused. All Stars Football Club's Sunday sessions will remain suspended until adequate security arrangements are in place, with the club expected to consult the police before taking a decision on resuming activities.
