TNA Wrestling has shared an unfortunate update on former Knockouts World Champion Tasha Steelz. The promotion has confirmed that she is out of action with a knee injury.
Steelz’s latest injury is concerning because she has dealt with several physical setbacks during her time in TNA.
At Rebellion 2021, Steelz took a scary bump to her back and spine after Jordynne Grace backdropped her over the ropes. The spot raised concerns about her condition. She faced another scare in April 2022 when she reportedly suffered a head injury because of a poorly timed landing during a clothesline spot.
However, 2023 proved especially difficult for Steelz. She missed around six months because of an injury before returning at IMPACT 1000. Unfortunately, her comeback did not last long, as she suffered another injury during later tapings in Windsor.
Her problems continued in May 2025, when TNA announced she had not been medically cleared after Rebellion. That setback came after Mike Santana put her through a table during the event, leading to her hospitalization. However, it was a part of the storyline.
Steelz suffered the injury during the four-way match for the TNA International Championship at Bound For Glory 2026. Mustafa Ali defended his title against Jason Hotch, John Skyler, and Agent Zero in a match filled with dangerous moments.
During the match, Steelz and Agent Zero were involved in a risky spot after separating from Order 4. Both were placed on a table, setting up a big move from Ali.
Ali then hit a 450 splash from the top rope, crashing through the table and landing on Steelz and Zero. While the move became a memorable highlight of the match, Steelz ended up suffering a knee injury.
TNA confirmed the injury during its medical update on the October 15, 2026, episode of TNA iMPACT! However, the company did not share details about how serious it was or what her recovery might involve. It also did not provide a possible return date.
