NETFLIX have revealed a new documentary on Tyson Fury ahead of his massive bout with Anthony Joshua in December.
The British heavyweight icon will finally go toe-to-toe with his long-time rival in Cardiff in a month and a half.
But fans who cannot wait for the fight can get ready by tuning into the doc – which is set to provide a heartfelt and intimate look at the man behind the gloves.
Fury admitted in the first trailer for the doc that he “didn’t want to live” during his mental health struggles after conquering the boxing world with his win over Wladimir Klitschko in 2015.
He explained he felt: “My whole point of existence had been taken away.”
The program was directed by Lucy Wilcox, who previously worked with Paddy McGuinness and wife Christine on a documentary ‘Our Family and Autism.’
Netflix describes the release as: “Offering an unusually vulnerable perspective on a figure whose life has often played out in public.”
“Wilcox drew on remarkable access to Tyson and his family to reveal a more personal side of the heavyweight champion.”
The doc is set to feature emotional interviews with Fury’s closest loved ones, including wife Paris and his dad John Fury.
Paris recounted in the trailer: “The Tyson that I knew was gone, and I was so scared.”
Fans will be able to watch the new release when it drops on November 27th, just weeks before his mega-fight at the Principality Stadium.
The iconic boxer is no stranger to the small screen, having featured in two seasons of Netflix’s domestic documentary series ‘At Home With the Furys.”
But the new show will look to dig deeper into the darkest years of his career, and his meteoric rise back to the top of boxing.
