Renovations at Municipal Stadium Push Match to Palamós

Marc Ballester’s squad continues to host home matches away from home while construction crews wrap up the final phase of upgrading the municipal stadium in Badalona. The club announced that the fixture against Barcelona will be played at the Costa Brava venue for the second year.

Remodeling work at the Badalona ground will not be fully finished by November 1, meaning the team must wait a bit longer before stepping onto their new turf for a competitive fixture. Bdncom.cat reported that the club expects to return to its home city for Matchday 12 on the weekend of November 21 and 22, following upcoming away trips to face Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid.

Catalan Derby Tickets Sell Out in Fondo Sections

Expectation for the Catalan derby has driven strong early demand among supporters. Fully 100 percent of seats in the Fondo A and Fondo B sections are already occupied after sales crossed the 1,000-ticket threshold.

Fans looking to attend can still secure seats in the Tribuna and Lateral Aragó sectors. Standard ticket prices range from 9 to 17 euros, while VIP seating is priced at 50 euros. Purchases are available through the official Badalona Women channels and the Fever platform.

Barcelona Arrives Following Ballon d’Or Honors

The visiting Blaugrana side travels to Palamós fresh off a sweeping success at the Ballon d’Or gala, where the club was named the best women’s team of 2026. Barcelona claimed that distinction after securing a historic quadruple consisting of the Liga F title, Copa de la Reina, Spanish Supercopa, and UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Club Appreciation for Palamós Support

Badalona Women issued a formal statement expressing gratitude to the Ajuntament de Palamós for providing logistical ease and steady support during this structural phase of the club’s development. The local council’s cooperation has allowed the team to maintain a stable home environment while stadium work reaches its conclusion.
