Club Tiro con Arco Petroquímica is fielding a nine-athlete delegation for the 3D National Final scheduled for October 31 and November 1 at the Club Tiro Federal Argentino facilities in La Plata. The tournament marks the calendar closer for the modality, bringing together qualified archers who competed across various national ranking events throughout the year.
Club president Miguel Prat met with the head of Comodoro Deportes, Hernán Martínez, to coordinate ongoing support from the sports agency ahead of the weekend competition. Prat discussed preparations for the closing months of the competitive season across both national circuits.
Petroquímica’s roster features Fernando Matus (Raso masculino), Yevheniy Vdovitchenko (Raso masculino), Luciano Mena (Compuesto masculino), Guillermo Bratovich (Compuesto masculino), Ariel Rivas (Recurvo masculino), Juan Carlos Rodríguez (Tradicional masculino), Gabriel Rivas (Tradicional masculino), Víctor Hugo Rodríguez (Raso masculino) and Miguel Prat (Tradicional masculino).
Competition begins Saturday with a classification round spanning 24 stations. Those scores determine the qualifiers who advance through Sunday’s elimination brackets toward the semifinal and final rounds.
Following the La Plata event, four club members will travel to the Asociación de Tiro con Arco de La Rioja for the Field Archery National Final on November 21 and 22. Juan Carlos Rodríguez (Tradicional masculino), Miguel Prat (Tradicional masculino), Ariel Rivas (Recurvo masculino) and Guillermo Bratovich (Compuesto masculino +50) will represent Petroquímica.
Prat also outlined plans for youth development and training schedules at the club, including an upcoming introductory course series. Beginner classes are scheduled for November 2, 4, 7, 9, and 11, designed to expand youth participation and onboard new athletes to the sport.
