Slavia Prague maintained their flawless run in the Czech Women’s Football League with a 3–0 victory away against Viktoria Plzeň, while Slovan Liberec defeated Lokomotiva Brno 2–0.

Slavia Prague Defeats Viktoria Plzeň to Extend Perfect Season

Slavia Prague secured their eighth victory of the season by defeating Viktoria Plzeň 3–0 on the western edge of the Czech Republic. The visitors took control immediately when Kateřina Svitková scored from the match’s opening chance just thirty seconds after kickoff.

Viktoria Plzeň absorbed sustained pressure for much of the afternoon, maintaining occasional threats on the counterattack to keep the deficit narrow. The resistance finally broke late in the second half as Barbora Polcarová struck twice. She converted a pass from Lucie Bendová from the edge of the goal line in the 83rd minute before adding another goal five minutes later following a corner kick.

Slovan Liberec Overcomes Lokomotiva Brno

Slovan Liberec earned a 2–0 win over Lokomotiva Brno, keeping themselves firmly in third place in the league standings with a match in hand. Brno frustrated the visitors for more than three quarters of the contest by defending in a compact block.

Snažily jsme s hrát v bloku a moc nevystupovat, said Lokomotiva goalkeeper Sofia Valenčinová regarding the defensive strategy. Těch 75 minut se nám to dařilo, ale na dvě šance jsme nestihly zareagovat, nechaly jsme volné hráčky a padly z toho góly.

Anna Šubrtová broke the deadlock for Liberec in the 71st minute. Shortly after falling behind, Brno missed two clear opportunities to equalize. Slovan captain Aneta Dědinová then sealed the result in the 83rd minute by directing a header from a corner kick past Valenčinová.

V prvním poločase to nebylo to, co bychom měly předvádět, said Šubrtová after the final whistle. Nebyly jsme tak důrazné a o to víc jsem ráda, že jsme to nakonec ubojovaly. Ten druhý gól Anety Dědinové byl taky hrozně důležitý pro ten klid celkový.

Sparta Prague Edges Prague Raptors in Capital Derby

In the capital city derby, defending champions Sparta Prague defeated the Prague Raptors 1–0. Sparta controlled possession and tempo from the opening whistle, testing Raptors goalkeeper Sloupová with numerous attempts.

Frany Černá broke the scoreless deadlock just seconds into the second half, converting a close-range chance in the 46th minute. The Raptors relied on disciplined defending and nearly equalized late in the match when a shot struck the goalpost. The victory marked Sparta’s third clean sheet in a row.
