Galatasaray make three changes following their narrow 1-0 Super Lig triumph last time out.

Jakobs takes over from Elmali at left-back, Torreira comes in for Lemina at the base of midfield, and Akgun gets the nod over Sane out wide on the right.

Osimhen spearheads the attack once more as he chases his first Champions League goal of the campaign, but Rafael Leao is sidelined with an injury.

Ancelotti makes five changes from the team that drew with Brest last weekend, starting right at the back.

Paraguay’s World Cup hero Gill made his debut in that fixture, but former Fenerbahce goalkeeper Ozer returns to the starting lineup tonight.

Alexsandro and Verdonk also come into the defence in place of Nianzou and Perraud, while Ethan Mbappe is still missing as he sits out the second fixture of a three-match ban following his red card on matchday one.

On the bench for Galatasaray: Gunay Guvenc, Jankat Yilmaz, El Chadaille Bitshiabu, Leroy Sane, Eren Elmali, Lesley Ugochukwu, Ilkay Gundogan, Deniz Gul, Berat Lus, Renato Nhaga, Wilfried Singo and Mario Lemina.

Galatasaray starting XI (4-2-3-1): Ugurcan Cakir starts in goal, supported by a back four of Roland Sallai, Davinson Sanchez, Abdulkerim Bardakci and Ismail Jakobs.

Gabriel Sara and Lucas Torreira anchor the midfield, while Yunus Akgun, Aleksey Batrakov and Baris Alper Yilmaz line up behind lone frontman Victor Osimhen.

On the bench for Lille: Orlando Gill, Thomas Sajous, Loun Srdanovic, Olivier Giroud, Maurits Kjaergaard, Romain Perraud, Basar Onal, Tanguy Nianzou, Isaac Cossier and Gaetan Perrin.

Lille starting XI (4-3-3): Berke Ozer; Maxima Goffi, Nathan Ngoy, Alexsandro, Calvin Verdonk; Benjamin Andre, Nabil Bentaleb, Ngal’ayel Mukau; Dilane Bakwa, Hakon Arnar Haraldsson, Soriba Diaoune.

Much like their hosts, Galatasaray are learning that domestic dominance doesn’t always translate to Europe.

The Turkish side are still hunting for their first points of the league phase after throwing away leads in defeats to Sporting CP and Barcelona.

Following 3-1 and 4-1 reversals respectively, Okan Buruk’s men are already feeling the heat on a potentially pivotal night for their knockout ambitions.

Part of a quintet of teams on 14 points in Ligue 1, Lille missed out on going top after being held by Brest in their previous match.

Their domestic form is solid, but the story is vastly different in the Champions League.

Davide Ancelotti’s side threw away a lead twice against Real Betis on matchday one before being comfortably beaten 3-0 by last season’s runners-up Arsenal in their latest continental fixture.

Those setbacks leave them completely pointless in the league phase and hunting for a first taste of European success.
