Second-string quarterback Mac Jones might be the most eligible bachelor on the San Francisco 49ers’ roster.

But it isn’t all smooth sailing while dating Jones, especially for seafood lovers. Star tight end George Kittle’s wife, Claire, called this out to Jones during Tuesday’s episode of “The Kittle Things”

“You don’t eat seafood!” Claire said when George asked Jones what his biggest red flag in dating is. “Oh, and you don’t drink coffee. That one might be worse.”

This was a reference to a moment earlier in the episode, where Jones said, “Don’t go to a seafood spot with me” when talking about potential first dates because he doesn’t like seafood.

“Yeah. I’d say that those are probably my two biggest ones,” Jones responded to Claire’s mention of his red flags before adding that his personality can also be “overwhelming” at times.

It wasn’t all negatives. Claire also spoke about Jones’ biggest green flag in dating.

“I would obviously say his personality. Everyone loves that,” Claire said.

“His positivity would be my my biggest green flag. Even when you’re hurting, you still got a smile on your face and a love of life,” George added, which Claire added that she is “appreciative” of.

Jones’ unsophisticated food palette might be seen as a green flag to someone who shares that same distaste for seafood.

But it doesn’t sound like the Kittle’s will be getting a seafood meal with Jones anytime soon.
