Good afternoon from east London and welcome to our live coverage of Albion’s clash at West Ham United in the Championship.
James Morrison’s men are bidding to extend an unbeaten run of three matches after last weekend’s point at Preston with a first trip to face the Irons in front of fans in almost seven years.
See our live coverage from correspondent Lewis Cox below.
Great manful defending by Campbell to see it behind from Bowen.
Right-back Walker-Peters has a strike from 22 yards for the hosts and O’Leary beats it away well.
Manor Solomon for Mukasa.
What a chance. Albion corner not cleared and its’s pinball six yards out, Diakite and Morgan can’t turn goalwards.
Good Baggies break. For a moment it’s three on one and worked left to Price, good defending by young Golambeckis to see behind for corner.
Travelling Baggies army of 4,000 or so right to sing James Morrison’s name. Some performance so far. Approaching an hour here.
Austbo the lively West Ham left winger gets at Pereira again. Good run and low cross, finds Bowen deep, set for Kante whose strike is well blocked by Mepham.
Follow-up corner met by Kilman and O’Leary makes a decent stop. West Ham pressure.
Next corner flicked across goal for another!
Danger from the corner worked deep and header sent back over, fine clearing header Diakite to clear Baggies lines.
West Ham corner. Baggies need to be resolute here.
Lovely play. The same players involved.
Price from the left touchline, wonderful cross and the touch from Horn Myhre is sensational, first-time, for Morgan, who takes one touch to control and the second to send a sensational low finish across Hermansen and in.
Liquid football. Stunning.
What a goal. Again. Jimmy-Jay Morgan.
Back under way in the capital. 1-1 with no changes for either side. No surprises regarding Albion.
I think Albion have been very good and James Morrison will be particularly satisfied.
He will be frustrated his side are no longer ahead with a lead they deserved. The manner of the hosts’ equaliser was fortunate and I think will go down as a Styles own goal.
Morrison will be relaying the message that this game against the high-profile hosts will be there for the taking. The home fans are ready to boo at any moment - they did halfway through the half and did at the sound of the half-time whistle. Another sharp start to the half and this could be there for the Baggies.
Baggies turned up here and playing very well, with and without the ball.
Good game and a fine performance so far.
Into just the one added minute.
Shame for Price there as he tried another clever jinking move but technique let him down for once, couldn’t get a pass away on the counter-attack.
Deep corner met by Campbell at far post again and heads at keeper Hermansen who claims, a refereeing whistle went anyway.
Price overhits one for Horn Myhre and then on the other side, Albion’s right, Nzingoula feeds the rampaging Molumby with a fine pass towards right byline. Low cross causes issues and turned behind for a corner.
