Falkirk's Ryan Strain backs in-form side to stun Celtic

The Bairns have defeated Hibernian, Kilmarnock and Aberdeen in their last three matches to climb into the top six of the William Hill Premiership.

“We’re coming off three wins in a row, so we’ll be going out there to try and get the win,” said right-back Strain. “We’re at home, we’ve got to make it a fortress. I don’t see why not.”

Falkirk’s improvement in results comes on the back of a run in which they conceded result-altering, stoppage-time goals in three of their previous four matches.

“That’s two clean sheets in a row now, which is massive,” said Strain.

“Obviously, we were conceding late and we didn’t want to keep that bad habit going, but I feel really solid at the moment at the back with Bainy (goalkeeper Scott Bain) and the other three (defenders).

“Hopefully we can just keep going.”
