Sergio Pérez has signed a new deal with Cadillac which will see him stay with the American team until 2029.
The Mexican joined the newcomers ahead of this season after taking a year's sabbatical following his exit from Red Bull at the end of the 2024 campaign, and has now committed to three more seasons with Cadillac.
The announcement coincides with the 36-year-old's 300th race in Formula 1, the Mexico City Grand Prix in his home nation.
"Joining Cadillac Formula 1 Team from day one was a project I truly believed in, and extending my commitment feels like a natural continuation of this chapter," Pérez said in a statement.
"Building a Formula 1 team from the ground up takes time, relentless work and patience, but the progress we are making together is incredibly rewarding. There is still a lot of work ahead of us and I am fully committed for the next three years."
Ahead of the weekend, Pérez is set to take to the streets of Mexico City for a show run at Paseo de la Reforma.
A six-time Grand Prix winner, Pérez is one of three drivers who are without a point so far this season, alongside teammate Valtteri Bottas and Aston Martin's Lance Stroll.

"I want to thank Dan [Towriss], Mark [Reuss], and everyone at TWG Motorsports and General Motors for the opportunity to build on what we have started together," Pérez added.
"To every member of this special team, at the track, in the U.S., the U.K., and our fans, thank you for your support and trust. I won't let you down. Let's keep pushing!"
