Arsenal an absolute disgrace as they follow shameful Manchester United example

Arsenal have never been in a more powerful position, especially off the pitch.

The Gunners are the Premier League title holders and also got to the final of the Champions League this year.

The Arsenal owners have never had higher revenues than the riches they are currently enjoying.

Stan Kroenke is the American owner of Arsenal and he and his fellow countrymen at the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool were the ones who tried to steal football away by attempting to form a European Super League. Their greed knowing no bounds.

That had quickly followed the same shameless people trying to force through measures to award themselves greater voting powers than the other Premier League clubs, so that in the future the ‘Big Six’ could dictate (even more!!!) any major decision in the future.

Stan Kroenke enjoying unbelievable riches as the Arsenal owner now and his reaction to that was to employ Boston Consulting Group, a global management consulting firm, to ‘explore possible operational improvements’….

So what are these ‘operational improvements’ going to be?

The Athletic have now revealed that super rich Arsenal have looked at ways of cutting costs and their target has been…‘staff at the north London side were informed on Wednesday that 60 positions across a number of departments were going to be made redundant.’

It beggars belief, the ordinary low paid staff who have worked to help Arsenal become so successful, especially when it comes to making money, 60 of them rewarded with the loss of their jobs.

With the money their players and senior staff are paid, the huge amounts they spend on transfer fees, the despicable Arsenal owner targeting ordinary workers, who are on a pittance compared to others at the club.

It is the American way…yet another warning about the direction the Premier League is heading in, especially when having so many clubs with American ownership.

To make matters worse, the news of 60 low paid staff losing their jobs, comes only days after another Arsenal employee has had a £10m pay rise.

Mikel Arteta seeing his new deal meaning that instead of being able to earn £15m a year including bonuses, he can now earn £25m each year including bonuses. Can you imagine what the 60 Arsenal employees who are going to end up jobless will be thinking about this? Plus I dare say most of those losing their jobs will also be Arsenal fans.

The Premier League is all about greed.

No surprise to see the American owner at Arsenal following the example of the American majority owners at Manchester United. They and the pathetic minority shareholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe earlier this year got rid of 322 normal staff, as they look to enrich themselves by penalising ordinary low paid people with the loss of their jobs, as they themselves are proving so useless at running Man U and continue to waste fortunes on the highest paid at the club and via the transfer market.

It is truly obscene the way that those owning the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal are acting but this is where we are with the Premier League. These American owners and others looking to simply enrich themselves by whatever means and with ever rising ticket prices it is the fans who are essentially paying for it, whilst so many ordinary low paid staff pay for it as well with the loss of their jobs.
