Rangers duo Findlay Curtis and Connor Barron made their feelings clear as Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane won the Ballon d’Or on Monday night.

Kane was up against the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Lamine Yamal, Rodri, Lionel Messi, and others, and ended up winning the vote to become the best player in the world.

The England international narrowly edged Real Madrid’s Mbappe to the award, while Yamal came in third place.

Curtis and Barron appeared to be pleased with Kane winning the award as they took to Instagram to like the post he shared after winning it. Mason Munn, too, appears to be a fan of the former Tottenham forward, as he posted a story calling him the GOAT.

All three players are on the books at Rangers, but are not currently at Ibrox, as they aim to secure regular game time. Curtis is the only one still in Glasgow and is very much a part of the first-team setup under Derek McInnes. He has played a bit-part role this season, with the likes of Djeidi Gassama, Minsu Kim and Badredine Bouanani ahead of him in the pecking order, but he is expected to get minutes as the season progresses.

Barron was loaned out to Middlesbrough, but he is yet to play a single minute of senior football this season. Rangers News understands that the Light Blues are monitoring the situation and are considering options ahead of the January transfer window.

Munn is on loan at Dumbarton and has just managed to keep one clean sheet in seven games for them. His contract at Ibrox runs out in 2028, so he does have another season to prove his worth to the club.
