Estevao Willian remains on the bench for Chelsea in their Carabao Cup fourth round tie with Liverpool this evening, even with Cole Palmer missing through suspension.
Xabi Alonso has picked once again left Estevao out of starting line-up, with the Brazilian once again an option from the bench tonight. Palmer will sit out of tonight's match after being handed two quickfire yellow cards in the 2-0 defeat to Tottenham on Saturday evening.
Elsewhere, Mike Penders keeps his place in the Chelsea goal after his nightmare against Spurs over the weekend. The Belgian goalkeeper makes his second successive start with Emi Martinez still recovering from surgery on his fractured jaw.

At this point, we are unsure on the formation Alonso is using but it looks as if it could be a four-at-the-back system. If that is the case, Josh Acheampong, Maxence Lacroix, Wesley Fofana and Malo Gusto could be the defence.
Jordan Henderson starts at his old stomping ground alongside Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, who both came close to joining Liverpool before moving to Chelsea.
Pedro Neto and Morgan Rogers look set to be the wingers at Anfield, with Danny Welbeck coming in as the No.9. Joao Pedro is set for a few weeks out of the action due to a thigh injury he suffered last week.
It is a surprise call from Alonso in relation to Estevao. There have been reports from Brazil that the 19-year-old is growing increasingly frustrated with his lack of first-team minutes under the Chelsea manager, and given his only two starts of the season came in the last couple of Carabao Cup rounds, there was an expectation he would be named in the XI tonight.

Chelsea subs: Sharman-Lowe, Colwill, Subuloye, Palestra, Barco, Nicoll-Jazuli, Estevao, Quenda, Emegha
