Jonas Urbig had a much quieter night than the Champions League thriller in Viking as FC Bayern return to winning ways with a 6-1 victory over RB Leipzig. The young goalkeeper spoke about his competition with Manuel Neuer after the game.

“I try to go into games with a positive emotion. I feel very good,” Urbig said after his first Allianz Arena game of the season. “We want to be ready so the coach has the possibility to decide who starts every time. I hope Manu (Neuer) will come back soon. I'll be there whenever I'm needed.” added the 23-year-old.

“We had a convincing performance from start to finish. It was a lot of fun on the pitch today. The ease to score goals, which was a bit missing in recent games, was there again today. Lucho (Diaz) scored three, Harry doesn't stop scoring goals” said Urbig about the performance on the pitch.

Urbig could start once again when FC Bayern face Arsenal in the Champions League on Wednesday. After the draw in Augsburg, in which his mistake led to the fastest goal in Bundesliga start, the 40-year-old is absent due to a minor injury.
