Chelsea turn their attention back to Premier League action on Saturday when they face out of form Manchester United. The Blues lost on penalties to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup during the week, and that followed a defeat to Tottenham in the league last weekend.

United, meanwhile, are winless in their last eight games across all competitions and have only won once in the league all season, leaving Michael Carrick hanging by a thread coming into this one.

Ahead of the Stamford Bridge clash, we have rounded up the latest injury news surrounding both sides.

Manuel Ugarte - Out

Ugarte will be out until the spring after having knee surgery during the summer.

Luke Shaw - Out

Shaw will be out until after the international break.

Benjamin Sesko - Out

Sesko is going to be out until January due to a shin issue.

Patrick Dorgu - Out

Dorgu is out for a couple more weeks with a hamstring issue.

Kobbie Mainoo - Out

This one will come too soon for Mainoo, who should return next week.

Marcus Rashford - Doubt

Rashford will be assessed after picking up a groin complaint.

Reece James - Out

James is going to be out until the new year due to undergoing surgery on a knee issue.

Joao Pedro - Out

Pedro has a hamstring issue that is going to keep him out for a few weeks. Alonso has confirmed: "He has an injury of his thigh and is going to be out for a few weeks. Let's see how many: we don’t want to predict that, but he won’t be ready for the next games."

Maxence Lacroix - Out

Lacroix is going to spend the coming weeks out with a hamstring issue. Alonso has said: "It’s too early to tell how serious it is. Unfortunately, he felt something in his hamstring, and we need a couple of days to check what the injury is going to be."

Emiliano Martinez - Out

Martinez is going to remain out as he recovers from a fractured draw and subsequent surgery.

Pep Chavarria - Doubt

Chavarria will be hoping to return here after a short spell out.

Malo Gusto - Doubt

Gusto will be assessed after having cramps against Liverpool. Alonso explained: "He had cramps. We were a little bit forced with substitutions."

Moises Caicedo - Doubt

It's the same sort of situation for Caicedo, who has a small issue.

Jorren Hato - Doubt

Hato is another who will be assessed after picking up a knock during the week.

Jamie Gittens - Doubt

It remains unclear when Gittens will return from his lengthy layoff.
