Aldershot Town manager Scott Davies is expecting a tough FA Cup match against Tadley Calleva.

The Shots will be heavy favourites when they face a ninth-tier Tadley side in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup at the EBB Stadium on Saturday, October 17 (3pm kick-off).

Davies has warned his side to make sure they approach the Tadley game in the right way.

“It’s so important we approach it in the right way, and I think we will,” said Davies.

“We've got a group that will be brought down to earth very quickly in terms of making sure we're professional, we're humble, we have a good mentality and we show our quality at the right times.

“We won't let the group turn up here on Saturday and be easy-osy. If anyone does, they'll soon come off the pitch pretty quickly.

“We know it's going to be tough. Tadley beat Dartford in the last round, who are a massive football club.

“It shows what Tadley are capable of. They will get the upmost respect from me.

“We need to do our analysis on what they can bring. We'll do everything we've done so far this season, whether it's Carlisle United or Tadley.

“We'll watch their games back – we've got a couple of different bits of footage – and give all the lads the information they need.”
