The Oxford United Fan Advisory Board (FAB) issued a statement this morning (Wednesday, October 28) criticising the "wholly unacceptable" cancellation of a meeting by Dusan Bogdanovic, chair of the League One football club.
The FAB is a structured forum for fan group representatives and elected members from the Yellows' fanbase.
Referencing yesterday's win over promotion rivals Stockport County, a spokesperson said: "Shortly before the match yesterday, FAB's chair was informed by club staff that the club's chair, Dusan Bogdanovic, was in Indonesia and would not be attending the meeting scheduled for today, 28th October.
"The timing, method and content of this is wholly unacceptable to FAB. The date was provided by Mr Bogdanovic and agreed three weeks ago."
The group said they have a "number of concerns" which they wished to discuss with the chairman, who took on the role in May this year.

This includes the embargo on registering new players because of a lack of compliance with the Football League's salary cost management protocol regulations and the status of the new stadium.
In addition, they wished to discuss the current executive structure following the departure of Tim Williams as CEO in August and the imminent departure of chief commercial and marketing officer Adam Benson.
Mr Benson has left to become Burton Albion's new CEO, a job he will begin in late December.

The spokesperson for the fan group added: "The chairman met the chairs of the FAB and OxVox the Supporters' Trust in July and asked us to judge him on his actions.
"He issued a communications plan in August in which he committed to attending the next FAB quarterly meeting.
"With less than 24 hours notice he has withdrawn from that meeting. Actions speak louder than words.

"FAB will seek to rearrange the meeting at the earliest possible opportunity. In the meantime, we urge the chairman to provide a long overdue update for supporters on these important matters."
Following this statement Oxford United was approached by this paper and said it has no comment at this time.
This row comes as the Yellows sit third in the League One table after the team's relegation from The Championship last season.
Yesterday's statement 1-0 win over second place Stockport County means Aaron Ramsey's men have won six of their 11 league games this season and are three points behind top place Huddersfield with a game in hand.
Mr Ramsey called it his "proudest" win in charge.
