Former Steelers safety joins AFC North rival

Uh oh. A familiar safety who just got released by the Pittsburgh Steelers is headed to an AFC North rival — here's what fans should know.

According to the NFL reporter Jordan Schultz, former Steelers safety Rayshawn Jenkins has signed with the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad after his brief stint in Pittsburgh.

Jenkins, who began his NFL career with the Los Angeles Chargers (2017-2020), also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars (2021-2023), Seattle Seahawks (2024), and Cleveland Browns (2025) before joining the Steelers in August 2026.

During his short time with the Steelers, Jenkins played 188 snaps across six games for both special teams and defense, recording 16 tackles.

Hopefully, Jenkins isn't able to give the Ravens too much of an inside look into DC Patrick Graham's scheme, as Pittsburgh will face Baltimore during Weeks 15 and 18 this season, which we at Steelers Wire will cover extensively.
