Harry Kane has made a key promise to both his Bayern Munich and England teammates after winning the Ballon d'Or on Monday.
After a stellar year for club and country, Kane picked up the coveted prize for the first time, beating both Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal to the award.
Kane recieved the honour in home city and gave a classy speech where he thanked everyone who had played a part in his journey to the very top of football.
In 2026, the 33-year-old notched a staggering 61 goals in 51 appearances across all competitions for Bayern and bagged 12 playing for England.
Kane celebrated with a special after party in a Soho nightclub and humble as ever, he now plans to share his success with all of his colleagues.
The England captain has confirmed that he intends on handing out gifts to teammates at Bayern and England as a way to say thank you for their contributions in his major milestone - with watches potentially on the cards.
As per BILD, Kane said: "Some of the lads have asked for watches or something like that, so I’ll have to come up with something nice for them, both at Bayern and with England. I’ll look into it and make sure I get everyone a nice gift."
Kane himself wore an extremely rare Rolex Daytona worth nearly £1 million at the Ballon d'Or ceremony.
Kane becomes England's sixth Ballon d'Or winner following in the footsteps of Sir Stanley Matthews, Sir Bobby Charlton, Kevin Keegan and Michael Owen.
His next appearance for the Three Lions is poised to a historic one as Kane is expected to parade the Ballon d'Or trophy around Wembley prior to the UEFA Nations League clash with Croatia.
Kane is England's record goalscorer by some distance after scoring an incredible 91 goals in 125 appearances.
He is currently tied with England's legendary goalkeeper Peter Shilton on 125 caps. But if Kane features against Croatia as expected, he will surpass Shilton as the most-capped England player of all time to go along with being record goalscorer.
Things could get even better for the talisman in the near future if he receives a knighthood.
A Downing Street spokesperson refused to rule out Kane potentially being given the knighthood in the New Year's honours list but said they would not "pre-empt the honours process".
Kane was given an MBE - the fifth highest-class in the British honours' system - back in 2019 after his achievements at the 2018 World Cup and there is a possibility he becomes a 'Sir' given the history he has made.
Sir Bobby Charlton lifted the Ballon d'Or in 1966 after England's maiden World Cup triumph but his knighthood for "services to sport, particularly association football" did not come until 28 years later in the 1994 Birthday Honours.
Sir Stanley Matthews got an OBE one year after becoming the first ever winner of Ballon d'O in 1956 before being knighted in 1967.
