Hearts of Oak will put their impressive start to the Ghana Premier League season to the test when they travel to face newly promoted Debibi United at the Debibi Presby Park on Sunday.
The two sides will meet in the top flight for the first time, with the Phobians looking to maintain their push at the top of the table against a Debibi side eager to bounce back from defeat.
Hearts head into the encounter on the back of a narrow 1-0 victory over Basake Holy Stars at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium last weekend. The result extended their winning run to three league matches, having also beaten Vision FC and Port City.
The Accra giants currently sit second with 17 points from eight matches, level on points with leaders Medeama SC but trailing on goal difference.
Their defensive organisation has been a major strength this season. Hearts have conceded just twice in eight league matches, giving them the best defensive record in the competition. They have also kept four consecutive clean sheets.
The Phobians have been equally impressive on their travels, recording two wins, one draw and one defeat in four away matches. They have scored three goals and conceded just twice.
Coach Nebojsa Kapor believes his players have the quality and mentality to secure maximum points away from home, although he expects a difficult afternoon against the newcomers.
"I have given the players the confidence to win this game because this is a team capable of winning away matches. That is the mindset we have adopted. We must remain positive, focused and serious in our approach as we aim to secure all three points, although we know it will not be an easy task," Kapor said.
Debibi United, meanwhile, will be hoping to respond after suffering defeat to Bechem United in their last outing. The newly promoted side will be keen to make home advantage count as they prepare for their first-ever top-flight meeting with one of Ghana's most successful clubs.
With Hearts chasing another win to keep pace with Medeama at the summit, Debibi face a difficult challenge, but will have an opportunity to make a statement against the league's title contenders.
