“We’re capable of winning every away match” – Hearts of Oak coach fire warning ahead of Debibi United clash

Hearts of Oak head coach Nebojsa Kapor has challenged his players to keep their strong winning attitude in away games, insisting the Phobians has what it takes to beat any opponent on their home ground.

The Phobians travel to face newly promoted Debibi United in their Matchday-9 Ghana Premier League encounter on Sunday, with Kapor targeting another victory to keep his side's strong season on track.

Ahead of the crucial fixture, the Serbian tactician expressed confidence in his squad and stressed that he has instilled the belief needed to deliver positive results away from home.

“I have given the players the confidence to win this game because this is a team capable of winning away matches. That is the mindset we have adopted. We must remain positive, focused and serious in our approach as we aim to secure all three points, although we know it will not be an easy task,” he said.

Hearts of Oak have made an impressive start to the 2026/27 campaign, winning five, drawing two and losing just once in their opening eight league matches.

The rainbow-shirted side sit second on the league table with 17 points, while Debibi United occupy 16th position with seven points.

Kapor will hope his players turn their confidence into another good performance as Hearts aim to win again and keep the pressure on league leaders Medeama SC.
