Kylian Mbappé is making his mark in one of football’s biggest rivalries, having scored five goals in just two away appearances against Barcelona for Real Madrid.

The French superstar has quickly established himself as a major threat to Barcelona, delivering impressive performances whenever Real Madrid have travelled to face their fierce rivals at the Camp Nou.

Mbappé’s five-goal tally is particularly remarkable given the limited number of appearances he has made at Barcelona’s home ground in a Real Madrid shirt. Scoring five times in just two matches highlights his ability to take advantage of opportunities and deliver in high-pressure encounters.

The record also places the former Paris Saint-Germain forward ahead of two of Real Madrid’s most celebrated attackers of the modern era, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo, in away goals against Barcelona since the 2013/14 season.

Benzema and Ronaldo each scored four away goals against Barcelona during the period, leaving Mbappé with the highest tally among Real Madrid players under the stated statistical comparison.

Ronaldo enjoyed several memorable performances against Barcelona during his time in Madrid, while Benzema became one of the club’s most influential forwards through his movement, finishing and ability to deliver in crucial matches.

Mbappé, however, is already producing numbers that put him ahead of both former teammates in this particular category. His pace, direct running and clinical finishing give Real Madrid a dangerous attacking option in El Clásico, especially when space opens up behind Barcelona’s defensive line.

The rivalry between Real Madrid and Barcelona has featured some of the greatest players in football history, with goals from Ronaldo, Benzema and Lionel Messi defining many memorable encounters over the years. Mbappé is now adding his name to that history with an impressive scoring record on Barcelona’s home turf.

With five goals in only two away appearances, the French forward has made a remarkable start to his El Clásico career in Barcelona. If he maintains this scoring form in future meetings, he could further extend his advantage over other Real Madrid attackers in the away-goal rankings.

For now, Mbappé leads Benzema and Ronaldo in the stated comparison, underlining the immediate impact he has made in one of world football’s most closely watched rivalries.
