Predicting Leicester City’s next four League One games before international break

Leicester City must build on the momentum created by beating Doncaster Rovers at the weekend.

There is a real chance for Russell Martin to win back his Leicester City doubters by putting together a run of victories.

Martin’s side have four League One fixtures until the next international break, so they should be targeting at least 10 points.

With that said, we’ve predicted City’s next four games, starting with the trip to newly-promoted Bromley tomorrow night.

Leicester City will now motor on under Russell Martin

Bromley vs Leicester (October 20)

Leicester now have two consecutive away games, and interestingly, Martin’s side have been better on the road this season.

Bromley have lost four in a row and look like they’ll be heading back down to League Two, so City should really make a statement at the Copperjax Community Stadium.

Conor Chaplin could start after returning from injury, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he scores his first goal for the club.

Score prediction: Bromley 0-3 Leicester

Luton vs Leicester (October 24)

Luton were fancied to win the division by many, but Jack Wilshere’s side have actually made an even slower start than Leicester.

Leicester seem to up their level when they face the better sides who play on the front foot, so I think they’ll pick up another three points in this one.

I just have a feeling the Foxes will win it in stoppage time.

Score prediction: Luton 1-2 Leicester

Leicester vs Wigan (October 27)

Based on our predictions, Leicester could be searching for their fourth consecutive win against Wigan at the King Power Stadium.

Wigan at home is probably one of the most favourable fixtures on paper all season. Gary Caldwell’s men are rock bottom after losing six of their first nine games.

Martin’s side could hammer Wigan here and really show the difference in quality.

Score prediction: Leicester 4-0 Wigan

Leicester 2-0 Stevenage (October 31)

The last game before the international break falls on the final day of October, so Leicester will be desperate to end this block of fixtures on a high.

Stevenage are one of the smaller clubs in the division, but they shouldn’t be underestimated, as they finished sixth last term.

Alex Revell’s men will make it a physical game, and City will need to show a different side to their game. Martin may select a more experienced starting line-up.

I think the hosts will come away with victory and make it five wins on the bounce.

Score prediction: Leicester 2-0 Stevenage
