Tottenham wants £75m for Pedro Porro amid Barcelona and Real Madrid interest

Tottenham would want around £75 million before considering a sale of Pedro Porro, with Barcelona and Real Madrid exploring a possible move in 2027, according to TEAMtalk.

Graeme Bailey reports that intermediaries have spoken to both Spanish clubs about the right-back. Porro is said to be interested in the possibility of joining either side, although Tottenham’s preference is to keep him.

The reported valuation sets a substantial hurdle for any approach. TEAMtalk presents the figure as the level required to open a conversation with Tottenham, leaving the eventual terms of any transfer to be negotiated.

Porro’s contract gives Tottenham a strong position. The club announced a new long-term agreement in June, with reports describing it as a five-year deal. The latest interest comes only four months after that commitment.

His importance was clear in the numbers Tottenham published when announcing the extension. Porro made 47 appearances across all competitions in 2025/26, more than any teammate, and had reached 152 appearances for the club by June 14.

He also led Tottenham with 71 chances created and 48 interceptions during that campaign. His five assists placed him behind only Xavi Simons in the squad, reflecting his contribution at both ends of the field.

Porro had already played a prominent part in Tottenham’s 2024/25 Europa League success. He appeared in 13 of its 15 games, scored in the semifinal second leg against Bodo/Glimt and started the final against Manchester United.

His summer brought another major moment when he scored in Spain’s World Cup semifinal victory over France. Spain won 2-0 to reach the final, with Porro joining Mikel Oyarzabal on the scoresheet.

That record helps explain Tottenham’s reluctance to sell. Barcelona or Real Madrid would be trying to recruit an established starter whose contract has recently been renewed, and the reported £75 million threshold reflects the cost of persuading Tottenham to reconsider.
