Sinapi Aba Savings and Loans celebrated success at the 8th AGA Otumfuo Invitational, with Lydia Opoku Ware winning the ladies’ competition and Tony Appiah finishing as runner-up in the men’s competition.

Held at the Royal Golf Club, the annual event brought together 72 golfers from golf clubs across Ghana to compete for honours.

The tournament provided an opportunity for participants to demonstrate their golfing abilities while strengthening friendships within the golfing community.

The competition followed a singles Stableford format, in which golfers earned points based on their scores on individual holes, with the highest total determining the winner.

This format rewarded consistent play throughout the round.

Lydia Opoku Ware’s victory in the ladies’ competition was a highlight for Sinapi Aba Savings and Loans.

Her achievement, alongside Anthony Appiah’s runner-up finish in the men’s competition, gave the institution two notable results at this year’s event.

Beyond the competition, the AGA Otumfuo Invitational offered a platform for golfers from different clubs to interact, build relationships and celebrate their shared passion for the sport.

Its annual staging continues to provide an occasion for sporting competition and fellowship.
