After securing back-to-back victories for the first time this season, Spurs Web has turned its attention to Tottenham’s upcoming Premier League fixtures, comparing them with those of their fellow big six rivals

The last two weeks have seen Tottenham Hotspur climb out of the bottom three of the Premier League table after securing back-to-back wins.

The latest victory over Chelsea lifted Spurs to 14th place – their highest league position so far this season. In 14th, Tottenham are now just four points behind the Blues in fifth and six points behind Liverpool in fourth.

There is no denying that if the Lilywhites continue to pick up points, they could close the gap on the European places.

A few pundits believe a top-eight finish is possible, including Tim Sherwood, who is confident Spurs will finish above Manchester United and finish eighth.

He said: “Yeah, I genuinely think that. Genuinely believe on the evidence I have seen I am not sure, because Man United have got the extra games, I am not sure they will be able to cope with that. I think Tottenham will finish… eighth. In around eighth, you know.”

With momentum firmly behind Tottenham, Spurs Web has taken a closer look at the club’s next five Premier League fixtures – comparing them against the upcoming schedules of their fellow ‘big six’ rivals.
