Sadio Mané is reportedly the highest-paid African player in the world, while Mohamed Salah has also made great strides on the earnings list following his move to Turkey before the start of the season.

Mane leads African money league

Mané was one of the players who made the move from Europe to Saudi Arabia for a better paycheck in recent seasons. As such, that became a reality, as he is reportedly one of the highest-paid players in the world, taking home R14.6 million a week.

The Saudi Pro League continues to be a financially rewarding league in the world, as Kalidou Koulibaly reportedly earns R12.7 million per week at his club, Al Hilal, following his move from Chelsea.

Mohamed Salah

Mohamed Salah has made great financial strides at his new club, Trabzonspor, since arriving from Liverpool before the start of the season, reportedly earning R7.9 million per week. The money is not only rewarding, but he is still competing in a highly rated league, which helps maintain his profile as well.

Oseimhen adds more Turkish delight

The Turkish league’s financial benefits have also seen Victor Osimhen earn big at Galatasaray over the years, making it intrinsically difficult for clubs to meet his requirements. The Nigerian international reportedly takes home R6.8 million per week.

Omar Marmoush

Before leaving Manchester City for Tottenham Hotspur, Omar Marmoush was earning substantial wages of R6.4 million per week, while Achraf Hakimi has cemented his spot among the highest-paid players in the world, reportedly taking home R4.9 million a week at European champions Paris Saint-Germain.

R4 million margin

Édouard Mendy and Iñaki Williams are reportedly also earning big at Al Ahli and Athletic Bilbao, respectively. They are said to be earning R4.3 million and R3.9 million per week.
