Ghanaian teenager William Bediako seals Atlético Madrid loan move

The Spanish heavyweights have landed the signature of the talented midfield enforcer on a loan deal from the fifth-tier outfit until the end of the current campaign

La Liga giants Atlético Madrid have secured the loan services of Ghanaian teenager William Bediako from Tercera Federación side Trival Valderas for the rest of the 2026-27 season, with an option to buy upon it expiry next summer.

The 18-year-old promising budding star, who linked up with the lowly division from Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea in the summer of 2026, caught the attention of Rojiblancos with his dazzling young talent and have moved to recruit him into their football academy system this term.

Right after sealing his move to the Madrid-based club, the highly-rated prodigy confirmed his loan switch to the Estadio Metropolitano in an online interaction with KICKGH: ''The transfer move is a loan and could be made permanent at the end of the agreement in the next summer.''

KICKGH can confirm that the Ghana-prospect sensation is currently in Germany for Atlético Madrid U19 vs VfB Stuttgar U19 for the UEFA Youth Champions League on Tuesday.

Given his immense potential as an upcoming and young player, Bediako could become a future asset for the Ghana national football team at the senior level on the international stage in the near future.
