ANDRÉE JEGLERTZ PREVIEW

PREVIOUS MEETING

Our last Manchester derby was one to remember.

A 3-0 victory at Old Trafford, courtesy of a Vivianne Miedema brace and Kerstin Casparij strike in March helped City on our way to our first WSL title in a decade.

LAST TIME OUT

A tricky test against a determined Brighton side saw City earn a hard-fought 3-2 win at the Joie.

A 16-minute brace from Bunny Shaw quickly put the Blues in the driving seat before Niamh Charles got her first goal for the Club a minute later.

But goals from Olivia Garcia and Caitlin Hayes just before the break left the door ajar for the Seagulls.

Jeglertz’s side kept the visitors at bay in the second half and were also unfortunate not to find the back of the net again as we recorded a sixth straight league win.

TV LISTINGS

As previously mentioned, fans residing in the UK can watch every moment of the match live on Now TV, Sky Go, Sky Go Extra, Sky Sports Football and Sky One.
