The 2025 NBA Draft lottery odds are now set. The Portland Trail Blazers lost a “coin flip” drawing to the Phoenix Suns to decide their draft order, and now own the tenth pick, pending the results of the upcoming draft lottery. After the two teams finished the season tied with records of 36-46, this draw resolved any remaining questions. We can now discuss Portland’s specific lottery odds.
By virtue of losing the tiebreaker, The Blazers have a 3.7% chance of the No. 1 pick, 4.0% chance of the second pick, and 4.4% chance of third. They have a 16.9% chance of moving into the top four. If they do not move up in the lottery, they cannot finish in the 5-9 pick positions. They have a 81.9% chance of picking in slots 10 or 11. Detailed information is available at Tankathon.
The NBA Draft lottery will take place on May 12th. The lottery will choose the top four spots in the draft, and the remaining teams will be slotted in reverse order of their records. Although this tiebreaker involved the Suns, Phoenix’s pick is currently owned by the Houston Rockets.
This is the full list of lottery odds for the Blazers. Portland could technically pick 13th or 14th, but the odds are negligible.
