Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has expressed strong confidence in Raphinha's ability to finish the season as the league's leading goalscorer, backing the Brazilian international to compete for the prestigious Golden Boot award.

According to a report by Fabrizio Romano on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, the German tactician believes the winger possesses the necessary qualities, attacking intelligence and finishing ability to achieve the individual honour this season.

Flick made his position clear while discussing the Brazilian's contribution to Barcelona's attacking setup, emphasising that he has no doubts about the player's potential to produce an impressive goalscoring campaign.

"I have no doubt that Raphinha can win the Golden Boot this season," Flick said.

The Barcelona manager's statement reflects the confidence he has developed in Raphinha's performances and his importance to the team's attacking ambitions. The Brazilian has become an influential figure in the squad, with his ability to create opportunities and contribute goals making him an important part of Flick's tactical plans.

Despite his optimism about the winger's chances of winning the individual award, Flick also expressed concern about his physical condition during the ongoing international break. Raphinha is expected to join the Brazilian national team for international commitments before returning to Barcelona for the continuation of the season.

The manager stressed that having the forward return without any fitness problems would be extremely beneficial to the club as it prepares for its upcoming fixtures.

"It would be amazing if Raphinha came back from Brazil fit, from this international break. It would be amazing!" he added.

Flick's comments demonstrate the importance Barcelona place on maintaining the availability of their key players, particularly at a stage when domestic and European competitions demand consistent performances.

International breaks often present challenges for clubs because important players must travel long distances and participate in demanding matches for their respective national teams. Consequently, Barcelona will be hoping Raphinha avoids injuries and returns in excellent physical condition.

The Brazilian's availability could prove significant as the Catalan side continues pursuing its objectives across different competitions.

Although winning the Golden Boot remains an individual achievement, Flick's backing suggests that he believes Raphinha can make a substantial contribution to Barcelona's overall success while competing with other leading goalscorers.

For now, the club's immediate priority will be ensuring that the winger completes his international assignment safely before returning to club action.
