Orlando Pirates supporters have begun discussing possible candidates to lead the club in the future, with Jabulani Arthur “10111” Zwane emerging as a suggested successor to current head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou.
Ouaddou has earned admiration among Buccaneers supporters since taking charge of the Soweto-based club. His coaching approach, ambition and influence on the squad have raised expectations about what Pirates could achieve under his leadership.
One supporter expressed the hope that the Moroccan tactician would remain at the club for many years, admitting that it would be difficult to imagine the team without him. However, the supporter also acknowledged that football is unpredictable and that coaching changes can happen at any time.
With that possibility in mind, the supporter suggested that Pirates should consider potential replacements well before the need for a change arises. Zwane, popularly known as “10111”, was identified as a candidate who could be considered if Ouaddou eventually departs.
The suggestion has sparked discussion about the qualities and experience required to lead one of South Africa’s biggest football clubs. Zwane’s familiarity with the local football environment has made his name an interesting addition to the conversation.
However, the proposal remains a suggestion from a supporter rather than an indication of an imminent coaching change. Orlando Pirates have not announced plans to replace Ouaddou, and there is no confirmed indication that the coach is preparing to leave.
For now, Ouaddou remains in charge, with the club focused on its domestic and continental ambitions.
Whether Zwane could ever take over remains uncertain, but the discussion reflects supporters’ interest in the club’s long-term coaching future.
